Manel Subirats was born in Barcelona in 1972. He has been professionally devoted to photojournalism for more than 20 years.
He started as a graphic designer and editor for a local magazine until he jumped to press photography for newspapers and magazines, both local and regional of the North of Barcelona, where he remained permanently and went end up becoming the head of photography.
He has worked as a teacher at various educational centers in the peninsula in the hands of Fujifilm and, moreover, has been a beta tester of some cameras that the brand has put up for sale.
He has exhibited in several exhibit halls such as the Sala Ciutat de Barcelona.
He has participated as a jury in several photographic competitions of national scope.
He also works as a freelance photographer for various commercial brands and tourist entities from different countries and cities.

Manel Subirats nació en Barcelona en 1972. Se ha dedicado profesionalmente al fotoperiodismo durante más de 20 años.
Comenzó como diseñador gráfico y editor de una revista local hasta que saltó a la fotografía de prensa para periódicos y revistas, tanto locales como regionales del norte de Barcelona, donde permaneció permanentemente y terminó convirtiéndose en el jefe de fotografía.
Ha trabajado como profesor en varios centros educativos de la península en manos de Fujifilm y, además, ha sido beta tester de algunas de las cámaras que la marca ha puesto a la venta.
Ha expuesto en varias salas de exposiciones, como la Sala Ciutat de Barcelona. Exposición itinerante de Barcelona por varios museos de Barcelona.
Ha participado como jurado en varios concursos fotográficos de alcance nacional.
También trabaja como fotógrafo independiente para varias marcas comerciales y entidades turísticas de diferentes países y ciudades.
