Lights and Shadows in Marrakech (2019)
Marrakech, the imperial city of Morocco. The old Riads, the famous Jemaa El Fna square, the Koutoubia mosque, the Majorelle garden, but it is chaotic and can be intimidating when you visit for the first time. One of the many reason why I fell in love with Marrakech within a short time are probably the contrasts. The sun shines bright into the alleys so that light and shadow alternate and become a wonderful, contrasting play of light which turns the whole scenery into a constantly changing piece of art and that’s what I tried to catch in these photos.
